Orion Entertainment did a great job at our B’nai Mitzvah. We had an outdoor ceremony and they set up microphones and speakers so that everyone could hear the service clearly. We were worried about doing an outdoor ceremony with the sound, but David took care of it and we didn't have to worry about anything.  David then moved everyone indoors and corralled folks together for a Hora. They were able to mix together the songs we had selected in advance, with their own to keep the party going. When the dancing slowed down they’d jump in with a party game for the kids. These were very popular, and we gave away prizes to the winners. We booked with Orion for our wedding in Seattle for both DJ and Photobooth services, and we couldn't be happier with how the event turned out! Kordel was our headliner DJ and he did an incredible job keeping the party moving, and he was super attentive  and flexible when it came to music playlists. He knows how to keep guests on the dance floor and don't think we ever saw it empty. If you’re looking for a wedding (or any event!) DJ, let your search stop here! Orion Entertainment is the best there is for event entertainment. Incredibly professional and prepared, prior to our wedding they had a series of questions to make sure they were fully prepared coming to our event, and helped me make sure I was ready too!! They made sure to have all of our special event songs ready to go, and knew the flow of the day. Austin did an amazing job as MC, helping keep the party moving. And then there was dancing!! Everyone was on the dance floor, and a huge part was how well Austin did DJ’ing. It was the perfect mix of songs everyone loves, with the right DJ twist that made it fun and easy to dance all night. Orion Entertainment is FANTASTIC! Their team makes event planning smooth, easy and stress-free. They meet with you before the event to customize your experience to meet your needs. Their app makes requesting songs super easy and fun! On the day of the event, their team sets up efficiently and is ready to get the party started. I was SO IMPRESSED with our DJ, Austin! David at Orion Entertainment saved the day in making our wedding the best party it could be.  We had originally booked with another DJ, and when that DJ backed out with a month remaining we figured our chances of finding someone in this busy wedding year were slim, and we'd have to ask a friend to MC and put a Spotify playlist on.  David heard what happened and was able to seemingly pull the best DJ we’ve ever seen (Kevin Gaylor) out of thin air for our date.  Kevin was so easy to work with and nailed the musical vibe we were going for.  Through the booking process, to the day of the event, Orion Entertainment and all of the people involved made the process so easy, we can’t recommend them enough. We had such a great experience working with Orion for our wedding. First, the company is very well managed. The owner regularly checked in with information and reminders, which kept us on track and on top of planning. Second, they use an app called Vibo that makes planning really easy--you can create playlists for each portion of the event (cocktail hour, dinner, etc.), there are guided questions that help you think through your preferences about the actual event (how much of the first dance song will play? how are tables released/served for dinner?), and there is a way to add must plays and song shout outs. The app was insanely helpful. Third, on the day of the event, the djs went above and beyond. They arrived early, they helped our coordination team with tables, they played requested songs, and they took a group photo that I will always cherish! David and the Orion team were a great choice for our wedding. If you’re considering a DJ and Photo Booth service, look no farther.

David handled changing our wedding date (Covid) with ease. He has an app that allows you to add your playlist in advance. The dance floor was going all night and the team had great energy.

David from Orion Entertainment was AMAZING at our wedding! Choosing a really good DJ is one of the most important decisions you can make for your reception as it will make or break whether your guests have fun or think the party is lame. With Orion Entertainment, you can take the guesswork out of it and be completely assured you are getting THE BEST.  I received so many comments from guests that he was the best wedding DJ they had ever seen (I agree!). He read the crowd so well and had everyone dancing all night long. We even had to extend the end time of our party as everyone was having such a blast and the guests were not ready to get off the dance floor.
