David DJ’d our wedding this past weekend, and our guests can’t stop telling us how fun it was! David really knew how to read our crowd at different points of the night. The music was always high energy. He knew when to get on the mic and pump us up; he was great at offering directions throughout the night; and also knew when to be creative and add in his own songs that we hadn’t thought to add. David was a great vendor to work with, one of the best of our wedding vendor team, and we are going to recommend him to all our friends!

Orion Entertainment is FANTASTIC! Their team makes event planning smooth, easy and stress-free. They meet with you before the event to customize your experience to meet your needs. Their app makes requesting songs super easy and fun! On the day of the event, their team sets up efficiently and is ready to get the party started. I was SO IMPRESSED with our DJ, Austin! He made our event a huge success! I can’t say enough about Orion. They are a great team and I will definitely use them for my next event! 5+++ stars!

We hired Orion Entertainment to DJ an elementary school dance. Booking them couldn’t have been easier. Communications were clear, prompt and hassle free, and David totally understood the needs and limitations of DJin’g a k-5th grade event. The night of, David arrived right on time, set-up efficiently and was ready to go when guests started arriving (even before the allotted start time!) Throughout the evening, David was engaging and friendly and made sure parents and kids had a great time. We had a last minute cancellation and they found us a new DJ within 30 minutes. They helped organize everything and Erik was our DJ. He did an amazing job and helped our day run perfectly. He even played music when it was me and my friends left. What an amazing service. I HIGHLY recommend them!!

After an 11th-hour pivot after a vendor covid-scare, David rallied his team to find us a DJ for our client. Brian and Hunter were so flexible, communicative, helpful, and adaptable.

I honestly cannot say enough about David and all the others who belong to, and make up Orion Entertainment. I have worked as the “student life” coordinator, and Production Coordinator at Eastside Preparatory School in Kirkland for the past five years. We started our relationship with Orion, and David more than four years ago. Each time he has come to campus, and venues with excitement, innovation and knowledge. So, imagine the wrench that was thrown into our plans when COVID hit. I didn’t want to give up on our Junior and Senior Prom 2020, and neither did David. Not only was his communication spectacular but there was never a moment where he said the words “I can’t do that,” or “That won’t happen.” Every expectation I had for a virtual prom, virtual dj or all around virtual event exceeded them tenfold. David and I met once to discuss it and I, the client kept throwing out ideas like — wouldn’t it be cool if….well he made all those happen and more. He also took the time to meet with our students leadership committee (think student government) to get their ideas, input, and reassure them that this would be a fantastic experience. It was that, and much more. Within a month a website was created to live stream his performance, incorporate a chat function, have a virtual photobooth piece, and the ability aggregate and use a specific hashtag to link the students social media to the event. I am grateful for David, and Eric and all the others who made this happen. We tried something new and Orion blew it out of the water. I know some people are in events for themselves, David is not only a DJ, but an artist, a listener, and a tech guru. This guy, and this company are the real deal. Not often do you get quality along with compassion. If you haven’t noticed by now…I can’t say ANYTHING wrong about Orion Entertainment. <3 Thank you!

Sam DJ’d our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah this past weekend and she was amazing! She was engaging, and had great energy. Read the crowd at different points in the night, and not just the kids – everyone! Sam also took the time before our event to meet with us and really understand what we were looking for during the party and then executed flawlessly. Sam knew when to get on the mic and when to just let the party flow – with the help of her energy behind the scenes. Many of our guests commented how excellent she was! Orion was a great vendor to work with and we highly recommend them.

Orion Entertainment was amazing! David (owner) was always prompt and clear in his communication all throughout the process. The contract was clear and the booking and payment process was smooth and easy! He answered any questions we had and was very helpful!

The app that they have is awesome! My wife and I were able to put in the specific song requests we liked for each part of the reception! Our guests were able to put in their song requests too which made it so fun for everyone! David was also very accommodating with our taste in songs and they made the vibe of the whole event so awesome!

The lighting they did was just amazing! It really made you want to party! David and his crew really livened up the event with their energy! David was also an awesome MC! He kept the program going along so smoothly and brought such great energy all throughout the event. He even danced with all of us during the dancing portion!

Overall, you have GOT to book Orion Entertainment and go all out with their top package. They seriously will go above and beyond your expectations! Thanks David and Orion Entertainment!

SO fantastic!!!!! Highly professional, were available to answer every question I had and were super quick about it as well. The DJ we hired was fantastic, timely, and professional. Really cannot recommend them enough! If you need any sort of event help this is the best place for it!!!

David was a true professional from beginning to end. Playlist creation is a breeze; he uses Vibo, which integrates with Spotify so you can import your playlists for him to review. He was able to use these playlists as a guide to put together his actual party set. He was able to take my playlists, play the songs I chose, and add more music really understanding the stylistic choices that we were aiming for. Key moments (procession, cake cutting, announcements, etc.) of course are set to the specific songs of your choosing.

David met with us twice before the wedding, once for a first meeting consultation to get to know us, then again at our rehearsal to get the timing of the music right. I want to point out the rehearsal meeting was the first time he’s done that, it was based on his scheduling availability- so I would work with him well in advance to make sure he can make that kind of a meeting work. Knowing David, if he can do something that will help you, he will find a way to get it done.

He worked closely with our day-of coordinator on timing for key moments and everything went extremely smoothly.

Music-wise, he had everything stocked up from classic party and wedding songs to modern hip hop and EDM bangers.

In summary, David was fantastic, I could not have asked for a better DJ to work with for our wedding!
